La que se avecina is a Spanish television comedy created by Alberto Caballero, Laura Caballero and Daniel Deorador. The TV-series focusing around the inhabitants of Mirador de Montepinar, a fictional building located on the outskirts of a big city. Both its storylines and cast are heavily based on Aquí no hay quien viva, which ended when Telecinco bought Miramón Mendi, the series production company. The episodes debuted on the Telecinco network, and were later rerun by the same network as well as cable/satellite channels FactoríaDeFicción and Paramount Comedy. The series debuted in 22 April 2007 and became popular thanks to its funny characters, witty script, use of catchphrases and capacity to integrate and poke fun at contemporary issues; the program presents a caustic satire of many of the 'types' found in Spanish society. The name of the show involves wordplay, as "vecina" is the Spanish word for neighbour.

011. Mirador de Montepinar
The Mirador de Montepinar urbanization is finally complete. Even though the floors are flawed, the doorbells don't work, the walls are paper thin, there are some annoying neighbors, and a new janitor with a questionable resume.
022. Okupas, flechazos y un golpe en el garaje
Disgusted to learn that Sergio does not want anything with her, Raquel tells the neighbors that she won't fix the problems. However, the insistence of the owners and Joaquín makes Sergio conquer Raquel again.
033. Azulejos, un polígrafo y un paquete por correo
Maite witnesses how Eric delivers the tiles to Enrique and Araceli. The angry neighbors complain to Raquel. The commercial director tries to calm her down by promising them a meeting with the head of the construction company.

Javi, badly advised by "the lions", finally hires a "thug" so that the defaulter pays his debt, but he turns out to be an clumsy guy who repeatedly makes the wrong victim. The domestic war between Lola and Gregoria continues.

After her sister's death, Doña Charo travels to town to take care of the inheritance. Shortly after, the old woman returns to Montepinar with a cow, chickens and a pig. This urban farm will put the neighbors on War Footing.

After losing his wallet, Recio calls a meeting to question the neighbors. Javi tells her that he can't be suspicious without proof, but then he discovers that Lola found the wallet and paid for a purchase with the neighbor's card.

Izaskun and Mari Tere still occupy the show floor. An oversight will make Raquel, Joaquín and Eric end up realizing it. Cristina is willing to seduce her crush, but her strategy fails the target.

Enrique is depressed. Araceli tries to cheer him up to with no avail, so Doña Charo gives her some "miraculous" pills. Izaskun and Mari Tere want to prevent her eviction while Cristina's seduction continues to create problems for her

Joaquín makes Izaskun and Mari Tere a stars trying to blame them for occupy the apartment. The Recios have a leak in their roof and they'll have to visit the defaulter. Other neighbors want to sell their houses because a brick scandal.
1010. Singles, gatillazos y un percance en la piscina
The construction company decides to make peace with Izaskun and Mari Tere at the same time that the high temperatures force the neighbors to sleep 'a la fresca' (outside).

The old women and the Recios have conflicts over the use of the pool. Cristina seems to finally seduce Javi, and Enrique decides to go out with Maxi to meet women.

Raquel reconciles with Sergio that forces Joaquín to go live with Eric downtown. Silvio will have to pretend to be Cristina's boyfriend for the imminent wedding. The police will come to evict the residents of the building to demolish it.
