011. From Precinct to Homicide
Jiří Markovič’s path to his long-sought position in the homicide unit. The episode follows his early career, from local precinct work in Prague 10 to his breakthrough case, The Headless Body in Hostivař, which helped open the door to murder investigations.
022. Learning the Hard Way
Markovič joins the homicide unit and must prove himself, earning the trust of his superiors and the respect of his colleagues. His abilities are tested in the Jiří Žítek case and the Pragoexport investigation.
033. Taking on the Legends
The Prokopské Valley case, an unsolved murder investigation that stretched on for twelve years. Several renowned detectives before Markovič failed to solve it. The episode explores how and why Markovič ultimately succeeded where others did not.
044. Sadism
An examination of several cases involving violent sadistic offenders, each with very different psychological profiles. From the U dvou koček case, involving a dangerous rejection-driven sadist, to Ladislav Hojer, a low-IQ offender, and Vladimír Tekverek, an exceptionally intelligent one, the episode highlights the range of personalities Markovič encountered during his career.
